To enter an item in the North Show you must be resident in the parish of Castel, St Sampson’s or Vale.
Each person entering will need to be a member of the Society, this is done by purchasing a two-day wristband. The number printed on the end of the wristband is your membership number.
Wristbands can be purchased on the Saturday before the show when entry forms are submitted. Entry for children of 11yrs or younger is free for this year, membership numbers and wristbands will still be required.
Entry forms need to be submitted at the Capelles Community Centre on Saturday 22nd August between 9am and 1pm. Adult entries will be £1 per item and children’s entries will be 50p per item.
When you submit your entry form, you will be given cards to take away. Please fill in a white card for each of your entries. These will need to be brought to the tent with you and laid on the table next to your entries face down. We would ask that these card are fully completed, including making indication if items are to be donated to the auction.
Items can be brought to the tent at Saumarez Park from 6pm on the Tuesday before the show or before 9am on the Wednesday morning. All exhibitors will be asked to leave the tents at 9am to allow judging to begin.
When bringing items to the tents, the park can be accessed via the La Pouquelah gate (next to the Folk Museum). A one-way system will be in operation through the park. Please abide by all signage and directions given by Show officials. All vehicles must be removed from the Park by 9.30am on the Wednesday morning.
Judging of the exhibits will take place during the Wednesday morning, there will be no access to the tents during this time. The tents will be open to the public from 1pm.
Exhibits can be collected from the tents after 9pm on the Thursday of the Show. We ask that items are not removed earlier than this as the public are still viewing the exhibits. There will be NO vehicle access to the park for collection of items on Thursday evening. Vehicle access will be permitted on Friday morning. Any items remaining in the tent after 9am on the Friday will be disposed of.
Prize giving, including collection of children vouchers and cash prizes, will be on Saturday 12th September at Capelles Community Centre between 3 – 5pm.
